We all must agree - we've tried to use the Default Child in UTAU at least once. But she never plays for us.
Uta-chan is an UTAUloid, but, unlike most UTAUs (except for Teto, Ted, Ritsu, Tei, etc.), Defoko's Voicebank is in Hiragana.
How to convert Defoko's voicebank into Romaji so that she can read most USTs (and the ones I've included in my last post about UTAU
)? I'm not a big fan of doing it, but if you have the time, by all means, go ahead. You need to use an online Hiragana to Romaji converter, taking Defoko's samples one by one and converting the names. Uta-chan has more than 130 samples, though.
For us who either don't have the time or can't be bothered, here is an already converted Uta/Defoko voicebank
Now, just open up UTAU, and open up Defoko's voicebank just like you would with Teto, or any other UTAUloid.
From now on, you'll be able to use Uta-chan's Romaji converted voicebank to sing songs!
Hope this helped!
